TDC presents: The APP

The TDC Community Project is being reborn as the APP, or TDC's Amazing Public Project (tentative title.) This project is an organized effort by the members of The Daily Click to simply make a fun and engaging game. This particular game will be an action adventure platformer starring a samurai. 

You are a samurai of the Eastern Kingdom. Long ago, the last of the demons was banished to another dimension, an underworld, in an effort to protect the land from their evil activities. However, over time the demons' powers grew, and they soon became strong enough to open a portal into the kingdom, allowing them to wreak havoc once again. If the portal remains open for too long, the worlds will begin to merge, and soon enough, the kingdom will be lost to the demons. Your goal now is to defeat the demons that are attacking and close the portal.

Progress on the full Tops the Pig 2 Remake

So this is where I'm at right now. I'm working on two new features at once, one of which I guess I'll share with you, and the other being one that must stay secret until the very day of release. The first new feature is a HUD, and it's really ugly. Either way, what's going on here is that you'll be able to unlock a HUD (for those of you that don't want it and to keep from disconcerting new players) that keeps track of your time, score, and number of deaths, which in turn will allow the unlocking of more things when you do well.

I'm also working on the menus that allow you access to the unlockables, a secret menu (not a menu of secrets but a menu which will remain a secret until release) and two other menus you can unlock.

So I dediced this'd be easier...

If I just make a blog instead of a Google Site then I think it should be easier and quicker to update the (lack of) masses that show interest in my game-making (for whatever reason). TOPS THE PIG 2, THE REPLICA REMAKE!!!

It's a remake of a game made by a man called AndyUK back in the year of 2002. I remade it for a competition. Now mind you, I don't get any money for this competition, and the awesome soundtrack wasn't made by me, but instead by Johan Hargne, the greatest composer who ever lived. Also remember that this isn't the full thing, well, technically it is, but I'm not done with it yet and features have yet to be added.
